Spring News:
It's spring time again and people are enjoying outdoor tastings in our wine garden. During the rainy weather you can still enjoy a tasting in our new lounge. We are also looking forward to the new release of our Estate grown Dry Riesling later this year.
Yankee Magazine's Best of New England “May/June” Issue found that Sharpe Hill Vineyard was the Best Wine Tasting Venue on New England. The Tasting Room is open year round for tastings and purchase of wine every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are no winery tours or picnicking; however, guests are invited to take a self guided vineyard walk which offers spectacular viewing of the Last Green Valley.
While enjoying a wine tasting in our newly expanded tasting room, be sure to taste our Ballet of Angels as it was just awarded a Double Gold medal at the 2010 Florida State International Wine Competition.
Connecticut Magazine’s May cover featured “Fifty Dishes to Try Before you Die” and included the Creole Shrimp entrée served in our Fireside Tavern restaurant. Dining is available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays by reservation only, which typically fills weeks in advance.
